
JOHNSON COUNTY—Law enforcement investigating a weekend shooting in northeast Kansas have released a photo of a vehicle believed involved.
The Prairie Village and Overland Park Police Departments are asking all residents and businesses to check their exterior cameras for any footage that captures the suspect vehicle in a shooting that occurred on Sunday, March 22nd at Franklin Park between 6:45 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.
The vehicle is a red/maroon 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Kansas license plate 9103ACY following a black SUV.
The investigation indicates that suspects fired a large number of bullets, concentrated in the areas of 99th/Roe, 95th/Roe, then Franklin Park at 87th/Roe.
Security cameras along the route north of Interstate 435/Roe Avenue to Somerset Drive, Somerset/Roe to W 83rd Street, or W 83rd Street towards State Line Road and captured the incident click here to upload the video.
