JOHNSON COUNTY —Teamwork in action, according to a social media report from Overland Park Police. Thanks to the drone operators with Leawood Police, officers caught a car burglary suspect who took a nap on someone's porch at 2a.m. in the area of 104th and Conser Street.
According to Leawood Police, the suspect first mistake was running from officers after breaking into cars. His second mistake was staying in the area after his alleged crimes and his third mistake was deciding to take a nap.
"This is a perfect example of technology and teamwork resulting in another bad guy off the streets."
