NODAWAY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 8:30p.m. Wednesday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Chevy HHR driven by Joe D. Hamilton, 46, New Market, Iowa, was eastbound on Route JJ six miles west of Hopkins. The vehicle traveled off the south side of the road, struck a fence, embankment, went airborne and rolled.
Mercy 1 Life Flight transported Hamilton to Mercy 1 in Des Moines. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
