GREENE COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 6:30p.m. Monday in Greene County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Yamaha FZ6R driven by Joseph M. Castillo, 32, Willard, was eastbound on U.S. 160 a mile and one half north of Springfield.
The driver lost control of the motorcycle. It traveled off the right side of the road and he was ejected. EMS transported Castillo to Mercy Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. He was not wearing a helmet, according to MSHP.
