PHELPS COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 2:30p.m. Thursday in Phelps County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Honda driven by Gabriel K. Peak, Steelville, was southbound on U.S. 63 near County Road 6220.
The vehicle crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2020 Peterbilt semi driven by Rajan N. Taylor, 42, Potosi.
Peak was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Hutson Funeral Home in Cuba. Taylor was properly restrained and not injured, according to the MSHP.
