WYANDOTTE COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a double-homicide in Wyandotte County.
Just before 3:30p.m. on Saturday police were dispatched to a reported shooting at N. 7th Street and Nebraska Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a media release. First responders found three adult individuals with apparent gunshot wounds. All three subjects were transported to an area hospital where two were pronounced deceased. The third individual sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Police have not reported an arrest and did not release the names of the victims.
This incident is under investigation by the KCKPD Major Case Unit. Anyone with information on this case is urged to call the Crime Stoppers TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477). All tips remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
