KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas City.
Just before 11a.m. Saturday, police were dispatched to the 8800 block of NE. 105th Place on a reported knife attack. When officers arrived, they were summoned to a nearby residence where they located a man inside of a bedroom suffering from apparent stab wounds.
EMS responded to the scene and declared the victim deceased at that time, according to KCPD Officer Alayna Gonzalez.
Preliminary investigation indicates an altercation ensued between an adult male suspect, and the victim.
It is believed this is a domestic violence incident at this time. The suspect left the scene prior to police arrival. Detectives have identified a person of interest and are working quickly to locate him.
Police have not released the name of the suspect or the victim.
