
WYANDOTTE COUNTY- A man wanted for murder in Denver remains behind bars in Kansas, after a multi-agency traffic stop.
Just after noon, Feb. 20, The FBI and Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department's Special Operations Unit and Violent Crimes Task Force conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a statement from KCK Police.
During the stop, police arrested 20-year-old Yeanbraiker Yriarte-Valera who was a passenger inside the vehicle.
Yriarte-Valera is being held in the Wyandotte County Jail on a first-degree murder charge from Denver and a separate hold from Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to online jail records.
