RAY COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 5p.m. Saturday in Ray County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Ford Mustang driven by Hunter C. Colbert, 23, Excelsior Springs, was northbound on Highway O just north of Brashears Road.
The driver lost control of the car on a curve. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck a bridge concrete structure.
Colbert was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to the county coroner's office. He was wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
