86-year-old Kan. woman injured while unloading cattle

GREENWOOD COUNTY—A Kansas woman is recovering from injuries after a weekend accident in Greenwood County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that just before 2p.m. Saturday, a 2015 Ram 3500 driven by Thelbert M. Trimmell, 86, Fredonia, pulled to close to a panel while unloading cattle. 

The pickup struck 86-year-old Marilyn J.  Trimmell of Fredonia who got out of the pickup. The driver was unaware she had exited the pickup.

EMS transported Marilyn Trimmell, to the hospital in Fedonia.  The driver was not wearing a seat belt and not injured, according to the KHP.
