OZARK COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 12:30p.m. Saturday in Ozark County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Chevy Silverado driven by a 38-year-old Caulfield man was traveling on Highway H four miles west of Caulfield.
The pickup traveled off the road and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle then traveled off the left side of the road, struxk a utility pole, rolled the the driver was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene just after 2p.m. and was transported to Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol no longer releases the identity of accident victims.
