OREGON COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 5p.m. Friday in Oregon County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Ford Escape driven by Joy A. Parton, 49, Alton, was westbound on U.S. 60 four miles west of Thomasville. The SUV rear-ended a Kubota Utility Terrain Vehicle driven by Glenn E. Tantham, 75, Koshkonong.
Trantham was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Clary Funeral home in Alton. Parton was not injured.
