Missouri man dies after motorcycle strikes telephone pole

CAMDEN COUNTY—A Missouri man died in an accident just before 2:30p.m. Saturday in Camden County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1986 Honda motorcycle driven by Robert D. Eaton, 28, Camdenton, was southbound on MO 7 just north of Devanna Drive.

The motorcycle traveled off the right side of the road, became airborne, struck a telephone pole, overturned and the driver was ejected. 

Eaton was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Allee Home Howe Funeral Home. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
