REYNOLDS COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 3p.m. Sunday in Reynolds County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Honda VTX driven by a 52-yeaar-old Bunker man was northbound on Highway 21 two miles north of Ellington attempting to pass multiple vehicles in a no passing zone. The motorcycle struck a southbound 2012 Chevy Silverado driven by a 21-year-old Ellington man head-on.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup driver was not injured. The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and the pickup driver was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
