WEBSTER COUNTY—One person died in a pedestrian accident just before 9p.m. Saturday in Webster County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Ford Focus driven by a 17-year-old Strafford boy was eastbound on Evergreen Road two miles east of Strafford. The car struck a 28-year-old Jasper man crossing the road.
The victim was transported to Mercy Hospital and pronounced deceased just before 10p.m., according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
