OREGON COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 7a.m. Monday in Oregon County.
The Missouri State HIghway Patrol reported a 2017 Ford Explorer driven by Keith M. Price, 32, Thayer, was northbound on U.S. 63 two miles north of Thayer. The SUV rear-ended a 2011 GMC Express van driven by Joshua M. Parker, 29, Calico Rock, Arkansas, who was stopped in traffic making a left turn.
The impact pushed the van into the path of a southbound 2016 Freightliner semi driven by Shaun T. Hendrix, 47, West Plains.
Parker was pronounced deceased at the scene and was transported to Clary Funeral Home. Oregon County Ambulance transported Price and Hendrix to Ozark's Health. Parker was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
