BARRY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating after several inmates escaped the Barry County jail in Cassville late Thursday, according to the Sheriff's Department.
Two correctional officers were assaulted during the escape. At least three of the escapees have been captured. Deputies, the Missouri State Highway Patrol and U.S. Marshal's service continue to search for 34-year-old Mario Che-Tiul who is facing sex crime charges and is considered armed and dangerous.
