CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. —A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 6:30p.m. Thursday at Lake of the Ozarks.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Seadoo GTI SE driven by a 20-year-old Shawnee, Kansas, man was southbound at the 6.9-mile mark of the Big Niangua at Lake of the Ozarks. The rider was performing stunt maneuvers. The jet ski struck the left side of another 2015 Seadoo GTI operated by a 20-year-old Shawnee, Kansas, man who failed to keep a proper lookout.
Camden County ambulance transported the man doing the stunts to Lake Regional Hospital. Both jet ski drivers were wearing life jackets at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
