KANSAS CITY—A child died in an accident just before 2p.m. Sunday at a residence in the 8100 Block of E 96th Terrace near James A. Reed Road in Kansas City, Missouri.
According to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina, a Silver SUV ran over a toddler in the driveway of the home. The toddler was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced deceased shortly after by the medical staff. Police identiried the driver of the vehicle who remained at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
