
KANSAS CITY —A man faces charges in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred last week in Kansas City, Missouri.
Mahguyby Collins, 21, is charged with2nd Degree Murder, two counts of Armed Criminal Action, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon, according to Jackson County Prosecutor Melesa Johnson.

Just after 1p.m. August 13, patrol officers were dispatched to a shooting near 28th and Wabash, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
As officers arrived they located a victim later identified as 38-year-old Annie R. Walker, in the street, suffering from gunshot wounds. KCFD EMS responded to the scene and pronounced her deceased.
Based on witness reports, Collins allegedly shot the victim in the chest following an altercation. Surveillance footage captured Collins exit a vehicle, produce a firearm, and shoot the victim.
A Jackson County judge set the defendant’s bond to $150,000 cash only.
