Many republican lawmakers responded with anger to the felony conviction of former President Donald Trump. A jury on Thursday in New York convicted Trump on 34 counts of falsifying business records to influence the 2016 election.
Missouri U.S. Senator Josh Hawley's reaction to the verdict was no surprise. He used social media to comment on the verdict.
On Saturday, Hawley shared a security camera image of vandalism at his home. Hawley wrote, "After the sham Trump verdict, this loser came to my house at 2:45am to vandalize my mailbox with F*ck Trump signs and other love notes.Nice hoodie! Hope you were wearing your Covid mask."
