WEBSTER COUNTY — One person died in an accident in Webster County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 John Deere Gator UTV driven by Rebecca S. Tavares, 65, Seymour, was westbound in a field on private property along Highway BB one mile south of Seymour.
The front passenger tire struck a fence post and the UTV overturned. The driver was ejected and stuck under the vehicle.
Tavares was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Holden Funeral Home in Sparta. The accident occurred sometime between 5p.m. Sunday and 9a.m. Monday, according to the MSHP.
