CHARLTON COUNTY — One person died in an accident just after 11:30p.m. Friday in Charlton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Ford Escort driven by Brandon L. Vanbibber, 35, Moberly, was eastbound on Highway 24 six miles east of Salisbury.
The vehicle traveled off the road and overturned ejecting the driver.
Charlton County Ambulance transported Vanbibbler to Moberly Regional Medical Center then air evac to University Medical Center where he died.
Charlton County Ambulance transported a passenger Jassi M. Chamber, 33, Iberia, to University Hospital in Columbia. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
