Temps in the 60s today before colder weather tomorrow

After a pretty pleasant day on Wednesday cold air will move in for the last couple days of the week. There could be some light frozen precipitation in the form of light snow or freezing drizzle Wednesday night between midnight and 9 a.m. Thursday. This could cause some slick roads Thursday morning, and while widespread slick and hazardous roads are not expected Thursday morning commuters should exercise caution on their morning commute. Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service:


Today: A slight chance of rain between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Increasing clouds, with a high near 60. Light and variable wind becoming east northeast 13 to 18 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.


Tonight: A slight chance of rain between 8 p.m. and midnight. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 27. Blustery, with a north northeast wind 16 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.


Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 38. North wind 11 to 16 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.


Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 23. Calm wind.


Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 44. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.


Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 31.


Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 62.


Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 39.


Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 50.


Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23.
