Temps in the 50s through Wednesday

Dry weather and mild temperatures will continue into the beginning of the workweek. Highs will generally range from 50 to 55 degrees with lows falling into the 30s and lower 40s. Precipitation returns by late Wednesday into early Thursday with the possibility of rain showers changing over to light snow as temperatures drop behind a cold front. Little to no accumulation is expected at this time. Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service:


Today: Scattered sprinkles with a slight chance of showers between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 51. North northwest wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.


Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 31. North northwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm after midnight.


Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 54. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning.


Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 41. South southeast wind 5 to 8 mph becoming calm in the evening.


Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58. Calm wind becoming north 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.


Wednesday Night: A slight chance of rain before 1 a.m., then a slight chance of rain and snow between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m., then a slight chance of snow after 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Chance of precipitation is 20%.


Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 39.


Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 23.


Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 42.
