BARRY COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 5p.m. Thursday in Barry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an 81-year-old Monett man exited a 2005 Ford F250 on MO Z three miles east of Monett. The man was behind the pickup when it rolled backward over him.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Buchanan Funeral Home. The MSHP no longer releases names of accident victims.
