
SEDALIA, Mo. (AP) — One woman is dead and six other people were injured after a truck crashed into a Wendy's restaurant in Sedalia, Missouri.
Police responded to the scene at 5:38 p.m. Monday after callers said a pickup truck had traveled off the roadway and through the dining room wall of the restaurant.
Police said in a news release that their investigation found that the truck struck several trees before hitting the front of the restaurant.
The driver, who was not identified by police, was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
