POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 1a.m. Sunday in Pottawatomie County.
The accident involving a UTV occurred near Old Post Road and Genn Road, northeast of Wamego, Pottawatomie County, Kansas, according to the Pottawatomie County Sheriff. There were two occupants on the UTV. The passenger was ejected from the vehicle. EMS pronounced the passenger dead aata the scene. The driver was not injured.
The Sheriff's office did not release the names of those involved. The accident remains under investigation.
