MSHP finds 10 pounds of meth, 3 pistols and cash after pursuit

STODDARD COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects on drug charges.

On January 17, a trooper attempted to stop a vehicle on U.S. 60 in Stoddard County for a traffic violation, according to a social media report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The vehicle fled and a short pursuit ensued. The vehicle stopped and occupants fled on foot.

The driver was taken into custody and after a brief foot pursuit the other occupants were located. A search of the area, revealed 10.6 pounds of meth, 2.4 ounces of marijuana, 3 Glock pistols, and $6,005 in US currency.

The suspects are being at the Stoddard County Justice Center in Bloomfield.
