JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. —On Tuesday, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office recovered a stolen race car and trailer near 61st and Berryton Road in Shawnee County, according to Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse.
On October 21, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a report that the trailer and race car had been stolen from where it was being kept in the 9000 Block of 110th Road in rural Mayetta.
Jackson County Detectives discovered where the stolen items were located and obtained a search warrant for the property. The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office Detectives and Deputies assisted with the execution of the search warrant.
