SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a fatal accident that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Topeka.
The accident occurred in the 3100 block of SE California Avenue, according to Police Spokesperson Rosie Nichols.
A vehicle struck a 2-year-old girl and died from the injuries. Police released no additional details.
