The St. Joseph Sports Commission has announced the schedule for the third annual Holiday Hoops Classic at Civic Arena in downtown St. Joseph.
The Holiday Hoops Classic showcases boys and girls high school basketball teams from seven schools in Buchanan County along with other teams of interest from around the area, competing in a classic doubleheader format.
The annual holiday showcase features 16 games over three days beginning on Thursday, December 19th with the Lafayette girls facing Columbia Battle while the Lafayette boys will face will see Oak Park, a Class 6 final four team in 2024.
In addition to Holiday Hoops the St. Joseph Sports Commission has also announced the inaugural New Year's showcase, featuring 14 games that will be contested over two days, also at Civic Arena.
The games will also be played in a boys and girls doubleheader format, opening on Friday January 3rd with the Leblond girls and boys facing Lafayette County.
Ticket information will be released in late fall in which all sales will be facilitated online and through the Civic Arena Box Office.
