LAFAYETTE COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 7:30p.m. Tuesday in Lafayette County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Polaris 900 driven by a 13-year-old Waverly boy was eastbound on Durant Road just west of Salt Fork Road. The UTV traveled off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.
EMS transported to the boy to Carroll County Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
