CAMDEN COUNTY —A Missouri man drowned on Wednesday at Lake of the Ozarks.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the 35-year-old Springfield man entered the water from a docked boat at the 21 mile mark, Ledges Cove. A short time later he submerged but never resurfaced.
The Mid-County Dive team recovered the man's body and it was taken to a local funeral home. The MSHP no longer releases names of drowning victims.
