STONE COUNTY, Mo. — A Kansas girl was injured in an accident just before 4p.m Saturday at Table Rock Lake.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an 11-year-old from Olathe jumped off a 2022 Crest Pontoon boat driven by a 28-year-old Overland Park woman near PT 5, South of Branson West. The girl was attempting to help another swimmer. The boat propeller struck the girl.
Air Care transported the girl to Mercy Springfield for treatment of serious injuries. She was wearing a life jacket, according to the MSHP. The Patrol released no additional information.
