KANSAS CITY— Law enforcement authorities investigating the death of a child and two adults at a Kansas City home on Monday have identified those involved as 38-year-old Domonique McGeachy, 38-year-old Jerel McGeachy and their son 12-year-old Jerel McGeachy, Jr., according to Kansas City Police Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
The case is now being investigating as a suspected murder-suicide.
According to an investigation, Domonique and Jerel Jr. both appeared to have suffered fatal gunshot wounds. Jerel Sr. appeared to have taken his own life as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Investigators are not looking for anyone else involved at this time, according to DiMartino.
