CASS COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating after two inmates escaped from the jail in Cass County, Missouri in Harrisonville, according to a statement from the Cass County Sheriff's office.
Deputies in cooperation with the United States Marshall’s Service continue an investigation to locate 43-year-old Sergio Perez-Martinez of Panorama City, California and 33-year-old Trevor Scott Sparks of Kansas City. Authorities did not know they were missing until Tuesday.
Perez Mertinez was being held for possession of dangerous drugs. Sparks was jailed on money laundering charges, according to the sheriff's office.
