STONE COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 10a.m. Monday in Stone County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Chevy Silverado driven by a 71-year-old Branson man was eastbound at 3449 MO 248 five miles east of Reed Springs. The pickup traveled off the road and struck a tree.
EMS transported him to Cox Branson where he was pronounced deceased. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
