St. Joseph police are investigating a shooting Wednesday afternoon that left a resident with serious gunshot wounds.
Police report 20-year-old Taylor Lanaman was shot in both legs. Lanaman is hospitalized in serious, but stable condition, according to police.
Police received an emergency call around 2:40 Wednesday afternoon about a shooting near the intersection of North 16th and Grand Avenue.
The St. Joseph Police Department reports detectives later served a search warrant at 415 Blake Street and took a 30-year-old into custody.
The investigation continues.
