SALINE COUNTY —Two people died in an accident just after 4:30p.m. Tuesday in Saline County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Dylan L. Giffen, 29, Malta Bend, was southbound on U.S. 65 at Arbor Road.
The motorcycle struck the towed unit of a southbound 2018 Kubota tractor driven by Anthony W. Bryson, 28, Waverly, who was attempting to make a left turn on Arbor Road.
After impact the motorcycle crossed over into the northbound lanes and struck a 2003 Chevy Impala driven by Barbara M. Jarvis, 47, Carrollton, head-on.
Giffen and a passenger on the motorcycle Jaime E. Kelly, 41, Waverly, were pronounced dead at the scene. Bryson and Jarvis were not injured.
