MORGAN COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 11a.m. Tuesday in Morgan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1990 Chevy Corvette driven by Ricky D. Erichsen, 68, Stover, was northbound on Ivy Bend Road just south of MO 135.
The car traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree stump. Erichsen was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Kidwell Garber Funeral Home. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
