HOWELL COUNTY —A Missouri man died in an accident just before 5p.m. Monday in Howell County.
TheMissouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Ford Expedition driven by Bailey C. Pine, 26, West Plains, was northbound on Highway 63 one mile south of West Plains.
The SUV rear-ended a 2013 Kia Optima driven by John S. Eve, 70, Mineral Point.
The Ford then traveled across the middle of the road, stuck a southbound 2001 Nissan Frontier driven by Michael C. Wall, 77, Koshkonong, and overturned.
Pine was pronounced dead at the scene. Air Evac transported Wall to Cox South. Eve was not injured. Pine was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
