ALLEN COUNTY—A Junction City teen was among two injured in an accident during a police chase just before noon Monday in Allen County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Cadillac CTS driven by Logan L. Fielding, 18, was traveling recklessly eastbound on Hawaii Road and being pursued by law enforcement. Near the intersection with 4550 Road, Fielding lost control of the car. The vehicle traveled off the roadway to the right, crossed over Hawaii Road and came to rest off the road.
EMS transported Fielding and a passenger Brooklyn K Rhodes, 15, of Texas, to the Allen County Regional Hospital. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP. The Patrol did not report what prompted the chase.
