The moving company U-Haul reports Missouri is the 29th most moved to state in the U.S. for 2025.
Their rankings were based on one-way rentals, from more than two and a half million moves across North America.
The biggest gains for the Show-Me state were in Columbia, Lee's Summit, Saint Charles, and Wentzville.
Inbound moves to Missouri were mostly the same as 2024, with departures up slightly, year-over-year.
Texas was the highest moved-to state, while California saw the greatest move-outs.
Neighbor states Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas all ranked in the mid-to-low thirties.
