POLK COUNTY, Mo. —One person died in an accident just after 8:30p.m. Saturday in Polk County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a Dodge Caravan was northbound on South 77th Road two miles west of Bolivar. A 61-year-old Bolivar man, identified as a passenger, fell from the moving vehicle.
The 61-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The MSHP report indicated the driver of the van was unknown. The Patrol also no longer releases names of accident victims.
