MILLER COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 10:30p.m. Sunday in Miller County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Old 88 driven by Jeffrey D. Ballew, 61, Kaiser, was southbound on Blue Springs Drive just north of Wedgewood Road.
The car traveled off the left side of the road, struck a utility pole and came to rest in a field.
Ballew was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Phillips Funeral Home. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
