CRAWFORD COUNTY —A Missouri man died in an accident just after 9p.m. Friday in Crawford County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2021 Ram Promaster 1500 driven by Joseph R. Anderson, 25, Sparta, was westbound on Interstate 44 just west of the Route 19 exit.
The van rear-ended a 2003 Kenworth semi driven by Michael W. Jurd, 53, Linn, that was slowing in traffic.
EMS transported Anderson to Missouri Baptist Hospital were he was pronounced deceased. Jurd was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
