Police are investigating a crash involving a school bus in Clinton.

Just before 2p.m. Friday, an SUV traveling northbound on Price Lane struck a  bus from the Sherwood School District that was exiting a drive from the Clinton Community Center at 1004 E. Sedalia Avenue, according to a media release from Clinton Police.

The bus was occupied by 45 1st and 2nd Grade students, four teachers and the bus driver. Multiple injuries were reported at the scene, but all of those appear to be minor.

An ambulance transported three students to the Emergency Department  as a precautionary measure.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the bus driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic, possibly due to their line of sight being obscured by equipment attached to the bus, as the only probable contributing circumstance to the crash.

Clinton Police Officers along with Clinton Fire and Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Ambulance Personnel worked the crash.
