COOPER COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 6p.m. Saturday in Cooper County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Chevy Silverado driven by Drew A. Davis, 25, Bunceton, was southbound on Old Concord Road just south of 8179 Old Concord. A 2003 Ford Ranger driven by James B. O'Neal, 70, Bunceton, was northbound. Both vehicles traveled down the center of the road and collided head-on.
O'Neal was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Howard Funeral Home. Davis refused medical treatment. The drivers were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
