POLK COUNTY —A Missouri woman died in an accident just before 11:30a.m. Monday in Polk County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Mercedes Benz driven by Rajinder Singh, 41, Springfield, was westbound on MO 215 one mile west of Pleasant Hope.
The vehicle was passing a 1971 International farm tractor driven by Patricia A. Mcroskey, 77, Pleasant Hope, as the tractor was attempting a left turn onto a private road. The Mercedes struck the tractor.
Mcroskey was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Greenlawn North Funeral Home. Singh was not injured and properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
